1. Road Projects
Minutes:
Meeting called to order at 7 a.m.
The Supervisors traveled to the Fitzke Road off of Decator Drive to meet with road builder Dale Janisch and Robert Fitzke, land owner. Chair Hoenisch questioned Robert Fitzke and Supervisor Zernicke on whether this out lot had been approved by Town Road Specs because the agreement states it is a private way as of present. Chair Hoenisch showed people present the road agreement which states that future development will require a public road. Supervisor Zernicke, Mr. Fitzke and Mr. Janisch stated that the former Town Board had approved the road at a past Board Meeting. Chair Hoenisch stated that she will check the minutes for referencing this discrepancy. Chair Hoenisch explained the suggestions that Matt from American Asphalt had given to the Supervisors at their September 7, 2005 road meeting. Those suggestions including checking the road width, road base, and bringing the ditches up to the required specifications.
Supervisors then traveled to the Lonsdorf Road to meet with road builder Dale Janisch and property owner George Lonsdorf. Chair Hoenisch explained the ditch and cul de sac construction that needed to be completed before the base could be hauled onto the new road.
Supervisors then traveled to the Keith Maahs property and checked his proposed private way and sized the culvert for that private way.
Supervisor Zernicke was unable to attend the remainder of the meeting due to a conflict. Supervisor Wanke and Chair Hoenisch traveled to 60th Avenue to check the excavator damage and also checked culverts and ditching for the Van Der Geest pipeline installation project.
Meeting adjourned at the Town Hall at 8:39 a.m.
