�� OFFICIAL NOTICE AND AGENDA
The Board of Supervisors of the Town of Maine will hold a Budget Workshop and Special Meeting at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 25, 2005.
�� Minutes:
Chair Hoenisch called the meeting to order at 8:04 a.m.
The fire department budget was reviewed with Captain Bob Pound. One issue he explained will need to be replaced are the radios that we own do not meet Federal and State requirements. Mr. Pound had applied for a grant and received grants for 12 radios and 4 mobiles with a 75% reimbursement. $35,000 is the cost of the radios with 75% reimbursement. The Town will be responsible for $12,500.00. The Town of Maine was the only municipality that received this grant as Bob Pound was the only one that applied for this grant.

The workers of the Town had a discussion in regards to a possible retirement plan and/or wage increase. Don Wild of Edward Jones will be at the Board of Supervisors meeting at November 13, 2006 to present and discuss retirement options.

The Board worked on the 2007 Budget. This will be presented at the Public Budget Hearing on November 15, 2007.

�� by Supervisor Zernicke, motion carried.
