Special Board of Supervisor Meeting
A Special Meeting of the Board of Supervisors was held in the Town Hall on Monday, May 4, 2009 at 7:15 p.m.
Chairperson Hoenisch called the Special Board meeting to order.
Present were Chairperson Betty Hoenisch, Supervisor Tad Schult, Supervisor Wes Schoepke, Attorney Frokjer and Josh Prentice from REI.
Chair Hoenisch stated that the meeting had been called for discussion and possible action on the Roehl’s CSM with land dedication from Roehl’s and Radant’s for out lots one and two for the N. 44th Avenue cul de sac.
The Town Supervisors reviewed the Roehl CSM.
Chair Hoenisch explained that Josh Prentice from REI surveyed the Roehl’s 40 acre parcel into a 10 acre and a 30 acre parcel. Tom Radenz from REI recommended creating the N. 44th Avenue cul de sac out lots and out lot land dedication on the Roehl’s CSM. Mr. Radenz felt this would be cost effective for Roehl’s and the Town. Also, this way all property owners involved with the cul de sac out lots will have the road dedication shown on their deed.
Chair Hoenisch said that Roehl’s realtor scheduled the closing for the 10 acre parcel for May 8, 2009, so we needed to call this special meeting to approve this CSM. If the CSM is not approved, then the Town will have to negotiate the cul de sac out lots with the new property owner.
Attorney Frokjer had reviewed the Roehl’s CSM. He stated that the cul de sac out lots should be shown on the CSM as road dedication. With that change it would be fine to approve the CSM, he said. The CSM will also have to be approved by Marathon County.
Motion by Supervisor Schult to approve the Roehl CSM with the revision that shows the out lots as road dedications, seconded by Supervisor Schoepke. Motion carried.
Supervisor Schoepke made a motion to adjourn at 7:25 p.m., seconded by Supervisor Schult. Motion carried.
