The Town of Maine property owners were given the opportunity to inspect the 2004 Assessment Roll at the Open Book at the Town Hall, on Monday, May 24, 2004 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. No objection forms were submitted to the Town Assessor.
The Town of Maine 2004 Board of Review convened at the Town Hall at 6:00 p.m., Monday, May 24, 2004. Present were Board of Review members Vern Utecht, Chairman, Duane Grunenwald, Marty Zernicke, Marilyn Grunenwald, Betty Hoenisch, and the Town’s Assessor Jeremy Kurtzweil.
Chairman Utecht called meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
The Town Assessor Jeremy Kurtzweil discussed the forest crop and recreational land issues and how the Department of Revenue is going to tax these properties.
The Board reviewed the zoning permit and building permit chart and checked each permit on the assessment roll.
The Board reviewed the 2004 Assessment Roll, corrected any apparent errors, and added any omitted parcels. No property owners appeared to voice objection to the 2004 valuations, therefore the Board of Review accepts the Assessment Roll for 2004.
Assessor Jeremy Kurtzweil signed the 2004 Assessment Roll, which was attested by Clerk, Betty Hoenisch.
The Board of Review for 2004 was adjourned.
Notices of these meetings were published in the Wausau Daily Herald on May 16, 2004 and posted at the Chapter Two Restaurant, Northside Citgo, Richard’s Supper Club, Schmidt Bar and the Maine Town Hall on May 4, 2004.
