The Town of Maine property owners were given the opportunity to inspect the 2006 Assessment Roll at the Open Book at the Town Hall, on Thursday, May 18, 2006 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. No objection forms were submitted to the Town Assessor.
The Town of Maine 2006 Board of Review convened at the Town Hall at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, May 18, 2006. Present were Board of Review members Betty Hoenisch, Chairperson, Treasurer, Marilyn Grunenwald, Clerk, Kimberly Freund, Supervisor Zernicke and the Town’s Assessor Todd Anderson.
Chairperson Hoenisch called meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
The Board reviewed the zoning permit and building permit chart and checked each permit on the assessment roll.
The Board reviewed the 2006 Assessment Roll, corrected any apparent errors, and added any omitted parcels. Errors were found on Peters and Eno properties. No property owners appeared to voice objection to the 2006 valuations, however do to the errors the Board of Review will Reconvene on June 12, 2006 to allow Eno and Peters an opportunity to object to their new corrected valuation.
Assessor Todd Anderson signed the 2006 Assessment Roll, which was attested by Clerk, Kimberly A. Freund.
The Board of Review for 2006 was adjourned at 8:12 p.m. Supervisor Zernicke made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Marilyn Grunenwald. Motion carried.
Notices of these meetings were published in the Wausau Daily Herald on May 1, 2006 and posted at the Chapter Two Restaurant, Northside Citgo, Richard’s Supper Club, Schmidt’s Ballroom and the Maine Town Hall April 18, 2006.
