The Town of Maine property owners were given the opportunity to inspect the 2007 Assessment Roll at the Open Book at the Town Hall, on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. No objection forms were submitted to the Town Assessor.
The Town of Maine 2007 Board of Review convened at the Town Hall at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 15, 2007. Present were Board of Review members Chairperson, Betty Hoenisch, Supervisor Tad Schult, Supervisor Sue Shore, Treasurer, Marilyn Grunenwald, Clerk, Tammi Walter and the Town’s Assessor Todd Anderson.
Chairperson Hoenisch called the Board of Review to order.
The Board reviewed the zoning permit and building permit chart and checked each permit on the assessment roll.
The Board reviewed the 2007 Assessment Roll, corrected any apparent errors, and added any omitted parcels. Errors were found on Daniel Fiorenza, John Kempf, Mary Kempf and Sally Tauer properties. Assessor Todd Anderson will notify these property owners of their assessment changes and the Board of Review will reconvene on June 11, 2007 to allow these property owners to object to their revised valuations.
No property owners appeared at the Board of Review to voice objection to the 2007 valuations.
Assessor Todd Anderson signed the 2007 Assessment Roll, which was attested by Clerk, Tammi M. Walter.
The Board of Review for 2007 was adjourned at 8:18 p.m.
Notices of these meetings were published in the Wausau Daily Herald on April 29, 2007 and posted at the Chapter Two Restaurant, Northside Citgo, Richard’s Supper Club, Schmidt’s Ballroom and the Maine Town Hall March 2, 2007.
