A special meeting of the Board of Supervisors for the Town of Maine was held at 5:00 p.m. on August 15, 2005 in the Town Hall, 6111 North 44th Avenue, Wausau, WI 54401. Present were Chair Hoenisch, Supervisors Wanke and Zernicke. The Board traveled to Century Excavation to survey and discuss changes at Mr. Bill Schwede’s request. Mr. Schwede explained the clean up process on his property and also explained how he will crush the concrete slab and then cover with topsoil and seed. Mr. Schwede explained that he could not complete this project by August 31, 2005 as stated in the current agreement. Mr. Schwede requested that the deadline be extended to November 30, 2005.
The Board was unable to inspect the new subdivision roads due to time constraints.
The Supervisors then traveled to the John Courtion property on 32nd Avenue and spoke with Mr. Courtion regarding complaints the Town has received due to the condition of his property.
The Board traveled to the Waldvogel property to inspect the ditch that was disturbed when the WPS gas main was installed last winter. INTERCON Company has repaired the ditch twice but the water is not flowing properly and the grass is not growing.
Agenda for this meeting was posted on August 11, 2005 at the Chapter Two Restaurant, Northside Citgo, Richard’s Supper Club, Schmidt’s Bar and the Town Hall.
Present were Chair Betty Hoenisch, Supervisors Dennis Wanke and Marty Zernicke.
Adjournment was at 6:25 p.m. at the Town Hall.
